Privacy Policy

Effective 19 September 2026. ResearchSprout is operated by Aya Studio LLC, United Arab Emirates. Contact dallelguir@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests.

Information we process

We process your name, email, password hash, account and subscription status, research prompts, saved conversations, collections, monitor settings, integration settings and service usage. We also process public business listings and review text that you request. Security and operational logs may include network identifiers and errors. Stripe handles card information; ResearchSprout does not store full card numbers.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and secure your workspace, deliver requested research, save and export results, run your monitors, send account and service notices, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse and investigate errors. Optional integrations operate only after you connect them. Do not put passwords, sensitive personal information or information you are not entitled to process into research prompts.

Service providers and destinations

Railway hosts the service and storage; Apify collects requested public-source information; Resend delivers transactional email; Stripe processes payments. Connecting Google Sheets or a webhook sends the results you select to that destination. The current search and review workflow does not send prompts or review data to an AI provider. Providers may process data outside your country. We use access controls and encrypted connections and protect stored integration credentials and database backups with encryption. No system can eliminate every security risk.

Google Sheets connection

ResearchSprout requests the Google Drive per-file permission to create and update spreadsheets used with this app. It does not request access to all of your Drive files, email or contacts. We store an encrypted authorization token, spreadsheet identifiers and synchronization status to carry out your exports and scheduled syncs. Google authorization data is used only to provide this integration, not for advertising or to train AI models. You can disconnect in Export & connect or revoke access in your Google account. Disconnecting does not delete spreadsheets already exported to your Drive.

ResearchSprout’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention and your choices

Saved workspace information remains available while your account is maintained, including after a subscription ends. Contact us to request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data or account. We verify ownership before acting and explain any information that must be retained for legal, billing or security reasons. Backup copies normally rotate out within 30 days after deletion from active storage. Copies you export to Google Sheets or another destination are controlled separately by you and that service.

You can pause monitors, disconnect integrations and manage your subscription in the workspace. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it by disconnecting the optional feature or contacting us. This does not invalidate prior lawful processing.

Optional product analytics

If you allow analytics, we use a random first-party browser identifier to measure page visits, campaign source, signup, research, review viewing, exports and checkout activity. Signed-in activity can be linked to your internal account identifier. We do not include your search text, review content, passwords or payment details. Campaign tags are limited to short labels, and referring URLs are reduced to their hostname. Events are stored on our own server for up to 90 days. Choose No thanks or use Privacy settings to withdraw and delete analytics associated with this browser. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable browser analytics. Necessary account, billing and collection records remain separate.

Cookies, children and updates

We use essential session and authorization cookies and browser storage for workspace navigation and prompt drafts. The service is for adult business users and is not directed at children. We do not sell personal data or use Google user data for advertising. We will publish material policy changes here and notify account holders where appropriate.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your verified email, name and Google account identifier to create or access your workspace. Sign-in does not request access to Google Drive or Sheets. Exporting to Google Sheets uses a separate permission request.
